Steven1688 is a personal, self-hosted tool that helps users read verification-code emails from their own mailbox after Google OAuth authorization.
Data We Access
After a user grants access, Steven1688 may read limited mailbox data needed to identify and return verification codes:
- Recipient addresses, to match each message to the correct alias or mailbox slot.
- Sender, subject, received time, message ID, and necessary message text snippets.
- Verification codes extracted from messages.
How We Use Data
Mailbox data is used only to read, match, and return verification codes requested by the user. Steven1688 does not use mailbox data for advertising, profiling, resale, unrelated analytics, or any unrelated purpose.
Storage
Steven1688 runs in a user-controlled local or self-hosted environment. The service may store operational records such as aliases, message IDs, verification codes, sender, subject, received time, and short snippets for deduplication, debugging, and code retrieval.
Sharing
Steven1688 does not sell, rent, publicly disclose, or share mailbox data with third parties, except when required by law or explicitly directed by the user.
Security
OAuth credentials, access tokens, refresh tokens, and API keys should be kept only in user-controlled secure storage. They should not be committed to public repositories, printed in logs, or exposed in web pages.
Revoking Access
Users can revoke access at any time from the Google Account permissions page. After access is revoked, Steven1688 can no longer read mailbox data.
